@mmsword Awww, it's like the Milgram's Experiment in reverse. That genuinely restores a couple of points of my faith in humanity.
@hystericempress (short version, i did a tarot reading about how the fuck to keep myself alive and actually vaguely wanting to live during the quarantine...)
@hystericempress I'll explain another time, but... ahhh, YOU'RE the one Dawn was talking about. <3
@Leucrotta Shiiiiit. That's a hell of a thing. *hug* And yeah, I've been in that dissociative sinkhole too, you can probably guess when...
We're doing OKish! Peg's been tearing up a string of really weird commissions and it's been fun to watch. And I'm trying to formulate some ways to compromise with people on some of the political stuff. Probably going to try to de-stress by doing some serious cooking this weekend.
@Leucrotta I heard through the grapevine. Shit, I'm sorry. *hug* I don't think anyone can expect you to be emotionally OK after that, but I hope you're at least physically OK. That's... that's a thing.
Sometime LONG, LONG after the dust has settled, I have a story about the person who hit you. It's not funny now, but it might be then. In the meantime... shit, hang in there. I am _definitely_ impressed by your reserve and self-control.
@JulieSqveakaroo Eating 20 Korean hot wings the other day seemed to do something for mine, but I think the treatment has to be readministered daily and I've already lapsed...
@hystericempress Peg and I were LOVING how often Romana cut the Doctor's ego straight down during the Key of Time serial...

Today's mood: about ready to do some real serious Mike Ehrmantraut shit to some politicians and executives on behalf of my friends.
[CAPTIONED FOR THE TV IMPAIRED: Mike is the extremely meticulous, cunning old fixer/enforcer from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. He's the sort of guy who will sit in a crawlspace for 24 hours just to get the drop on you.]

@hummingrain I'm up! Raqun angey. >_< My rush work job is kinda awesome but I lost two hours of work to a Chrome "feature" that kept eating my homework and couldn't be turned off in the normal settings. >___<

@Phorm I'm a bit sad nobody voted for Jonah-era, 'cause they really ain't bad at all, and they were just hitting their stride when #$@%!#$!# Netflix canceled 'em, but yeah, I started in '90 with Joel and I've still got a soft spot for his sleepy-eyed-uncle charm. Mike is perfectly good too, though, and I do love Pearl. There's really no specific era I hate--though TBH I don't think anyone handled host segments as well as Joel. Some of the Pearl-era segments have great riff and great characterization but the jokes are just FLAT. ("Send... Mike... Down!")
