@Leucrotta Right? I think the actual final score has been acknowledged in maybe ONE game of minigolf I've played in my entire life... and thats because my cousin from Florida was a real (charming) asshole when he was younger. :)
@001zlnv cats are lousy engineers my kobold friends!
@001zlnv I mean it's fine you were just playin the odds here <3
For future reference our local population is...
4 voidbabies (shadow, sugarfoot, olive, snowy)
3 stripeys (artie, shemp, feauxbeau)
1 "other" (peebles)
@001zlnv Artie's sold monorails to Pounceway, Kittenville, and North Pawbrook!
@Leucrotta WOW.
@Oneironott You DO m'otter! <3
@Leucrotta At least we have the tiny comfort that ours is by far the more entertaining of the two games.
Also I've never seen a pro golf course with even a HALF decent arcade. XD
re: uspol, us-econ, "crime," cw: thar be blood 'pon the high seas
@001zlnv shit now i halfway wanna throw together a screenplay or something on the topic...
re: uspol, us-econ, "crime," cw: thar be blood 'pon the high seas
re: uspol, us-econ, "crime," cw: thar be blood 'pon the high seas
@001zlnv *takes copious notes* O;D
re: uspol, us-econ, "crime," cw: thar be blood 'pon the high seas
@001zlnv Or a method of hitting faster than that communication can deal with. Hmmm. I'm reminded of some of the stories of motorcycle couriers in Iraq confounding the hell outta US forces with far far better equipment and training but half the cunning...
uspol, us-econ, "crime," cw: thar be blood 'pon the high seas
Hmm.
What would it take for a return to the days of piracy and bandit kings? Seeing corporate barons regularly stopped and robbed by gangs of dandy highwaymen -- or shipments of luxury goods hijacked and sold off to feed the poor -- would restore so much joy to my heart.
re: observation/venting
@Oneironott EXACTLY. I am 100% convinced at this point that for almost all of these people, they really have zero actually interest in rationality except insofar as they can invoke it as a bluffing strategy.
Just like EVERYTHING ELSE the fedora crowd does.
