@Leucrotta I feel about the same way about Berkeley students that I do about, say, kookaburras. They would probably drive me batshit if I were around them very much, but I'm glad they're out there. There could probably stand to be more of them, but not too many.

@001zlnv We were VERY close to including a robot harpy with hypno powers, but sadly she'll probably have to be cut for time. But yeah, Noa was really built to be more on the supply side of hypnoslavery than the demand side... *evil grin*

@001zlnv Thanks! And I was pretty happy the other day when I read through all the roughs. I just can't help thinking of all the ways a story arc can collapse in on itself. :)

God, this dual-plot makes my brain hurt. I have absolutely no idea at this point if it's going to flow properly or not. This is by far the most complicated thing I've ever written. And I'm kind of proud of some of the good bits, I think there's real potential here, but I'm really starting to worry that I've bitten off more than I can chew. I haven't a clue if this is going to read okay, or be the least bit interesting, to anybody but Peg and me. Oh well, no turning back now.
