@rainwarrior I tried the beta, took notes on issues, then... apparently never shared those, because I am absent-minded. Oops!

Even in its beta state, I had a great time! Super-solid production values, everything felt really good for controls, totally recommendable.

...though, being a mediocre gamer at best, I'm lousy at the timing for getting max height or range out of block-jumps. Either it's tuned for higher skill than mine, or I missed some movement tech or upgrade along the way.

@Leucrotta There's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jinichi_Kawakami who claims to be the last ninja ever, but there's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masaaki_Hatsumi also. That's all I was able to find.

Then again, good ninja are hard to find....

Ever since I borrowed (then kept) my father's acoustic melodica – as seen at https://en.audiofanzine.com/melodica/hohner/melodica-soprano-9451/ – I've wanted something similar but not-so-acoustic so I can plug in headphones in and casually play without anyone else having to hear. Most melodicas use a mouthpiece on a connecting tube for breath control, but I think I'd prefer the tube so I can play like any other digital keyboard.

So far, everything I can find is:
* woodwind-style keys (or something even less understandable);
* an expensive device to plug into an expensive MIDI device that understands breath control (huge pro-level synths, obscure keytars found only in Japan, or a PC which significantly reduces the pick-up-and-play factor);
* plans for how to assemble one, something I definitely don't have the skill for.

Oh, and a lot of folks saying they want the same thing, all bewildered that nobody seems to make the damn things. *grumble*

Gettin' reeeeeeal weary of agonizing over the decision to buy an electronic device only to find post-purchase that it does a fraction of what it's advertised to.

@Leucrotta They're all cuties, but the snow leopard is especially cute. :)

@hystericempress Thank you for putting up with those of us who can't quite get to "reliable" no matter how hard we try. Reliable folks are super appreciated. :)
