@renbymon "Rena" probably wouldn't breach any copyright or trademark!

@toomanyfoxes I'm pretty sure those are both Greek roots, not Latin! The usual Latin terms for tail and dog are cauda and canis respectively
-F

@Koi @socks oh, in the same vein, hoshi wo miru hito accepts inputs from both controllers and you could use it for something like that

of course you also have the problem that it's famously one of the worst video games ever made in basically every respect imaginable, so you probably wouldn't *want* to
-F

@socks ah, then yeah dq9 is the only example we know of

re: which pokemon are the best pokemon

@heatherhorns_lite does "placeholder pokemon" include these?
-F

@Oneironott @Draekos have you seen felisrandomis's hedsentales? that's pretty much this!
-F

@smakian Trails in the Sky and its sequels are ones we always recommend to people. It's a JRPG with a fantastic story (though it takes a bit to pick up), and ought to run on a pretty junky computer (though it depends on just how "low-powered" you mean by low-powered); system requirements are pretty bare-bones:

(the later games in the series will need more computing power, but the first five games are all ports of PSP games and can run on a potato)
-F

@noiob yeah that's what i thought but wasn't certain enough to say authoritatively, especially with all the modern USB stuff
-F

@pup_hime @typhlosion also worth noting: some of this will also be CPU dependent. if the CPU only supports 16 PCIe4 lanes it doesn't matter that the chipset supports 36, you only get 16

I don''t know if the USB or SATA is CPU dependent or not, not sure exactly how all that works. modern USB is a mess, i know that much
