there's some really great video games on sale right now and i want to encourage people to use this chance to try them! but enthusiasm is in short supply right now, we're tired

I highly recommend the Ys series if you're into Zelda games or other overhead-perspective actiony games, and Trails is definitely worth a play if you have any interest in JRPGs or games with good story in general--it reminds us a bit of wild arms

If anyone ever was interested in getting into the Ys or Trails series, both of them appear to be on sale this weekend! I highly recommend picking up Ys I and II Chronicles (currently $4.50 each) and Trails in the Sky (currently $10) and Trails in the Sky SC ($20)
(both series follow Falcom's tradition of "the first game leads very immediately directly into the second", so you'll probably want both if you get one)
