@masklayer @jenbug@glitch.social Ahh. My general recommendations regardless of brand or whatnot is to eye refurb and/or open box deals. I'm not sure how Lenovo is doing these days, but the thinkpads used to be pretty good for around that price range

@masklayer Chromebooks are nice if you don't need them for heavier stuff. For some things, the ability to remote into your desktop to do work can cover some edge cases. Their usability is increasing with the ability to run android apps now, but I havn't tinkered much with that.

I sometimes scold myself for trying to sound wise, but maybe i actually am, for all i’ve been through. My friends believe in me, that much is true ^.^

I can anchor up, dive in and kiss coral and float gently among the algae glow. Take a deep breath and feel the gill slits move and work. Feel yourself breath through them.
I can feel it, see it, smell it as i sigh and relax soft in the crisp spring night.

Of course, my very live is quite liminal at this point. It a soft, happy comfort how normal such things get.

I admit, i’m always have a bittersweet love with early 1-4am times. It’s such a quiet, liminal time and even though leaving myself to my thoughts isn’t often a good thing, it’s sometimes just the quiet i need.
Liminal as a time for soft meditation and projection. rocking on gentle sea waves on a small boat lit by the blue glow of algae.

Belly scales toned a lighter grey, and around his crotch and lower, his textures blur like a a high resolution image zoomed to unintelligible pixels. At least, that's what one would see before the very sight of him injected and executed code carefully erasing the memory. He clearly has the power to do serious harm, but seems to only investigate crime and deal justice to those that deserve such. He still manages to strike an uncomfortable feeling in folks.

I'm getting increasingly bouncy with my music desires to the point where I might throw in and devote a chunk of the week to learning how to do proper mixes. @emanate is SUCH an inspiration where this is concerned, and crafts mixes in ways I always wanted to. It's empowering to see that done, and eliminates a lot of the apprehensions I had about it.
