I just got to spent fifteen minutes entertaining my office getting a phone scammer to ask me to be his girlfriend when I threatened to report him to the cops.
Ugh. I hate where I live. In Pennsylvania it is legal to discriminate against LGBTQ+ people. And with the area I live in, it is pretty anti-LGBTQ+. So I will probably have to move back to Canada to get a job. Which was planned anyway, but not so soon. :{|
Well. If I don't tell everyone I know tomorrow that I'm alive, then I may be in some deep !@#$. I may have told them that if I don't message them tomorrow, I'm probably dead, and have been shot by the Americans shooting at my house.
How do Americans get their hands on so many guns? They had automatic weaponry and shotguns for chrissake!
I'm going to pretend that they weren't shooting heavy weaponry at the house. I'm not kidding.

My friend's family are very well off and consequently I'm crashing in a small but legit guest bedroom.
1) the entire family reads like crazy so there are as more books *here* than I own.
2) this room's mostly mysteries so I'm sleeping among several hundred (fictional) murders and
3) I'm not a big mystery reader so by sheer chance my favorites are literally over my head.
Everyone look at @maloki@mastodon.social 's follower goal stream! Do keep in mind that it induces everything sickness, at least for me. The sounds in BioShock freak me out, and the visual effects hate my eyes. Watch out, as this game breaks my mind.
