@noelle I'm enjoying all of these so much. XD
So @Oneironott wanted to see the Mountain, and it's a super clear day. We were looking at place to go that weren't the pricey Space Needle, and I...found this.
Columbia Center Skyview Observatory.
A full wrap-around view from the 73rd floor. In the tallest building in Seattle--twice as tall as the Needle. For $15.
The views were astounding.
@emanate @Oneironott OH MY GOSH YES. I once temped in that building and went up there to the observatory every day on my break. it's SO AMAZING but you know that now. :D
@noelle those are awesome. XD
Speaking of dragons, what if being slain was part of a dragon's life cycle? Imagine a scenario where dragons are not merely long lived, but unable to die of natural causes due to uncommon toughness and resiliance? So perhaps this is why, despite having been around forever, they start causing such a fuss that it attracts heroes to save the people from them. Then, like a spiritual phoenix, they are free to rest and be reborn anew.

@zebratron2084 hahahahahaahhahahahah oooooh that's so delicious. XD
ALERTA ALERTA
VIETNAMESE AMERICAN COMMUNITY VULNERABLE TO DEPORTATION:
"we believe that Vietnamese community members, with final removal orders are vulnerable to potential arrest, detention, and deportation. ICE has used more aggressive tactics such as threatening community members with self-deportation and forcing folks to sign Vietnamese citizenship applications"

@bentosmile @plsburydoughboy Man, I looked it up and it's dumber than any of that: millennials are ruining Halloween by dressing up in costumes.
I am not making that up. The author appears to believe that no adults dressed up in costumes before the 80s - never mind that millennials were toddlers at best in the 80s - and so millennials are "taking Halloween away from kids" by dressing up.
My theory: the author's just such an insufferable fuckstick that he never got invited to costume parties.
@Elizafox I would happily follow this feed, yes. :D
@Kit @kel@witches.town awww! my black cat wants to be a shoulder-cat, but he's too HUGE. he loves it when I lie down and let him sprawl out on my back, though. XD
@ThatDamnCat oh, ow ow ow. empathy. :(
