Work
@mawr UUUGGGGGHHHH. clearly the best way to deal with a crisis is to prevent your employees from getting any actual work done and holding A FUCKTON OF MEETINGS.
@zebratron2084 yes definitely! and um... noonish?
@Soreth I did not know this... I'll have to keep it in mind. thank you for the information. <3
@zebratron2084 @emanate I would be *so* into trying that! :D
@Azure rice and oats are fine for me. it seems like there's a lot of variance in the recipe; if I try getting one other than making it myself, I'll just have to be careful to double-check the ingredients. :/
took a nap, woke up with the word "horchata" stuck in my head, which I thought was a spiced hot chocolate, but evidently it's something entirely different. it's also intriguing, except for the bit where several online sources said it involves barley as an ingredient, which puts it on the nope list for me. :/
food, slow cooker/crock pot question
@literorrery *nodnod* I'd appreciate the recommendation! :D
@anthracite I gotta admit I loled. frankly, this sounds like a lot of my own kitchen misadventures... I've gotten better with practice, but I can still ruin hard-boiling eggs if I'm not careful. >___<
food, slow cooker/crock pot question
@literorrery *nodnod* I will definitely do that! get recipes, that is. do you have any recommendations for cooker brands/types to get or avoid?
food, slow cooker/crock pot question
@zebratron2084 yesyes! I will greedily absorb any information you care to impart on the subject, especially before I make the plunge of actually buying one of the damn things. XD
food, slow cooker/crock pot question
so I'm thinking of getting a slow cooker. the ideal is something I can dump ingredients into, set a timer, ignore for a while, then come back and have food ready. is this how they actually work? what are your experiences with them, good and/or bad? I need information! (information... *information*...)

@anthracite oh my gosh THANK YOU. *uses site, grabs art, squirrels it away*
