@mawr You have to actually cook the food? I think?
Like, I know people take food out of the fridge and do things with it.
Have you tried making an energy pyramid out of canned goods on the kitchen table? You may have to surround it with a circle of eleven herbs and spices and ring a dinner bell three times depending on what's in the cans.
GRS flaming take
@starkatt TBH I had my surgery 12 years ago with an older surgeon (Kunaporn) and not much tissue to start with, and my home situation post-surgery meant I didn't get to do proper self-care -- one dilation every other day because work schedule -- so I have almost no depth and I get kind of upset when people focus on "whether you can take a penis" as the mark of a successful SRS.
@Phorm ... Damnit, Djinn, I'm a doctor, not a comedian!
@starkatt I stayed with my first ex for three years after the first dream at which I was at his funeral pretending to grieve so people would stop asking me weird questions.
@adeptomega ... I can talk about Wordpress + RSS + RoleScoper... but that's not the same thing, I suspect.
@Azure It's a very pretty thought. I would worry about more techbros thinking of themselves as 10x unicorns as a result.
@Sparf @adeptomega It's entirely possible you posted here and I completely missed it. You are under no obligation to worry about outbound communication while focusing on your wedding or attendant preparation. I have Monday off. Do you have any open days in your schedule while you're in town?
@adeptomega @Sparf I was wondering if you were going to tell us you were here. I knew you were coming, but I'd never gotten dates, so far as I could remember. How long are you in town?
@drwho I ended up digesting the whole thing. Even Galt's Speech. It took me a very long time to get close to anything resembling wellness. They're like philosophical carbon monoxide for me. They're so close to sane that just one or two universes away, it's possible to imagine people who are actually like they are and mistake us for them. But we're not them, and we can't be like them, the people in those books. And trying to be like them kills us.
@Oneironott Sympathies. I understand those feelings.
@drwho Agh. Apologies. I grew up with Anthem at 12, Fountainhead at 13, Atlas Shrugged at 14. It took me a dozen years to kick the habit and a dozen more to stop missing it. I missed the visual joke for the philosophical meta-analysis.
