@green Adept checked ours for me this morning, and we've got a Huntington Beach Stay-or-Go. It's got a temp probe, high/low/warm settings, and both delay and cook timers. Really worth the money.

@green I can look into what ours is when I get home; I'm pretty happy with it. I'd be leery of anything that's __too__ complicated, but you want something that has a timer and possibly a probe thermometer to cook roasts and such.

@green Excellent. Hit me up and I can offer recipes. Just be warned that if you don't remember to use a liner bag -- and about half the time even if you do -- they can be a bitch to clean.
@thefishcrow I hear you. I see the pain you're in and I see the difficulties you're facing. I can't fight them for you, but I can affirm the reality of your struggle. This shit is hard, made harder than it has to be for reasons which are at best opaque and at worst needlessly callous and cruel. You have my sympathies at how much energy it takes just to keep from falling further behind.
