When I first heard about server-side JS, I got angry. I've been a professional PHP developer for 12 years, and I fully acknowledge PHP as the worst web-programing language still in active use. Second on that list is JavaScript, and only 2nd because of its primary benefit: use of client side clock cycles. Which SSJS eliminates! \o/

@Thaminga I realized at some point that I was so miserable on Twitter that I'd been basically avoiding it for a while, and that I was forcing myself to endure the hellscape to stick it out for the few friends still there... and then not interacting with those friends because of the hellscape.

...that's when I made the switch full time.
