@cwdolunt@mastodon.social in Europe, potatoes were only planted as ornamental plants for a while

@cinnamon thanks! I might skip the Infinity step, since it's really not that much of a hassle to run one file after rebooting

@cinnamon got any pointers as to what's the current method? I found sth that starts by telling me to run PSP Module Checker which doesn't run without CFW

@avie in case you only wanna do a tiny hack

@avie sadly the movie is slightly cropped, but there's not much to work with here in terms of screen resolution so I'll take it

@SkunkyLass it might not work that way, but that's how it feels

also I didn't expect it to play (without CFW), UMDs are region-locked, but Japan and Europe are the same region

@Violet like, it's a cool artstyle, it just hurts to look at it

@Violet oh, and they're actually using a subtle DoF effect that looks nice

@Violet like, sure, I can appreciate a nice bokeh but they can't even blur based on depth info on the Switch

@Violet the Link's awakening remake blatantly fakes this style which imo kills the depth effect, half the screen is a mushy mess so you see less of the game and it gives me a headache to look at it

@monorail it looks nice, might be my chance to finally play them lol
