my Steam deck just plugs into my dock at work and immediately uses all the connected peripherals and both screens

@codl @Felthry the Steam dock comes with a charger, fwiw, and it has DisplayPort as well as HDMI, which usually isn't on the cheaper docks. It does allow the Steam Deck to support FreeSync, which can be useful

@codl @Felthry yeah cuz they just relay the signal, the Thinkpad has all the things already and the dock just breaks it out into separate ports. USB-C docks need to have pretty powerful hardware
