@JulieSqveakaroo The only reason it is not a plan of action for my inflatable friends is I have no intention of passing on the puffing. n.n

@zebratron2084 Speaking objectively, you are showing subtle outward signs of recovery and rebuilding at a rate at least three times faster than the baseline control model did, without any of the usual psychotic breaks from consensual reality (not including preexisting breaks, of course ;).
I'm a little surprised and kind of proud, Kin. You're doing *well*, as far as I can tell. It feels like shit sometimes, sure, but from here? I know it's hard and... you're making it look easy.
"That's a rather specific cut." "Buddy, you don't know the half of it."
Mobile Task Force Gamma-9 ("Palette Flensers") specialize in anomalous materials which are, could be, or ought never to be used again as, "food" or the concept of "food".
They're not very good at the 'hiding in plain sight' thing yet.
@Edelwood Ah, but you never see thick piles of were fur around when they change back. It doesn't shed - it retracts. That fur's the same fur they had *last* time they were'd out: they've been holding it in the whole time. So it's all matted and strained and, well, if it wasn't for the pores wiping it clean it'd be a total gore-show.
It's actually terrifying when you think about it. >.O
@anthracite ... I go on Twitter break for a few days and suddenly they're selling profile data to Cambridge Analytica, tapping my phone mic for advertisers and now logging my passwords to plaintext?!
... hmm. There's opportunity here.
"Dear @Jack. Obviously I'm the only thing holding your little empire of lies together. Gimme a million dollars or I'll stay away *another* week. Muahaha, Moment." n.n
@noelle ... not until *now* it didn't. o.O
@literorrery @mawr @starkatt Heh. I feel a certain obligation to suggest keeping an eye on https://briarproject.org/index.html, even if she and I never met per se. Not all worlds can be Perfect.
Still, a useful tool is a useful tool. n.n
*wakes screaming, sheets soaked in a cold sweat*
"a... Alexa?"
"I'm here! Can I help you?"
"Could... Could you collect childrens' personal information from birth announcements, phones, tablets, searches and social media for 18 years, building a shadow profile of them without ever actually *using* it until they were of legal age, and then market to them using a perfect predictive copy of their every want and desire?"
"Could I _ever._"
@starkatt Huh. Local BBSes at 2400 baud, Fidonet (and Furnet atop it) at 14.4k tossing QWK zips into the zoid, and then my first 'real' shell account was on a dialup non-broadband commercial provider back when those was a thing, when you still fingered peoples' .plans to see what they were up to - or just TF'd into FM to drop friends a pagemail, if I didn't mav whoever was soloing the botspot from the GC.
Mmph.
I long for The Grid. Things were simpler on two wheels. u.u
@porsupah Well, not to make light of your cutting concerns, but... I dare not use the laser to sharpen tools at work. While a sandpaper-sharp blade is sharp enough to shave with, the laser *itself* is sharp enough to split a hare - and that's an 'I' hazard. XD
Same plane blade edge from yesterday, after going over about twenty pieces of sandpaper varying in grit from 60 to 2500. Got the gouges out with the 60, then chased the sanding marks out with successively finer papers upward.
If I'd had a flatter surface handy than a chunk of laminated particle board, the bevel would be a mirror: I was being whimsical, going much past 800 like this. A few streaks, given the rustic setup, will do.
Yes, it's sharp enough to shave with. n.n
@JulieSqveakaroo It works! Not complaining. Happy rabbit sounds over here. Yowza. n.n
