Yeah. I looked up the areas last night, and remembered that...heck, I know that whole area. I went to college for four years in the area, up in a small town called Angwin, which is smack in the middle of several of those fires. I don't really miss the place, but I still wouldn't want it to burn down.

My grandparents lived in Calistoga. I used to drive over and visit Santa Rosa all the time (one of the better malls and theaters, aside from Napa).

So yeah. :-/

I recognize the conditions, we had that a few times in the summer here. But we were never that close to the fires themselves.
