I'm not an otter but I am swimmy! (and can be for a while at least, I'm not a native shapeshifter but I can shift my shape if needed)

and I'm married to an otter... though he's not technicolor, just regular-brown-otter colored. XD

@Oneironott @KawaSeadrake much, much empathy for all. :| come to think of it I went back to sleep after that dream with thoughts of "well at least if we got hit by a planet-killer asteroid we wouldn't have to deal with Trumpcare" going through my head, so.

@mawr two things down, in fact--smol fren texted, and planning bus route now. and then I remembered I also need to do dishes. two steps forward, one back, LITERALLY. XD still, I feel confident!

@KawaSeadrake everybody whose lives would be destroyed by Trumpcare, every time I go to Birdspace. it really does feel like 100-ft tidal waves destroying everything. thank you for hugs, hon. *nosebump*

@literorrery I will have to try that out! there's actually a brand I can get at Fred Meyers, they're mini-cupcakes and so annoyingly tiny but still completely edible. it's so nice that there's so much *tasty* GF food available these days. :D

OH AND ALSO I dreamed that my father showed up and wanted to talk to me, and I tried to avoid him, then finally said "If you want to talk then let's talk, but I'm going first and you're not going to like what I have to say." we went off somewhere to talk and I got distracted by stuff in the background and that part ended. :|

also had the usual "everybody else is having delicious cupcakes which I CANNOT EAT, it's okay I'll just sit here and have this squashed, cardboard-like, flavorless flax muffin" dream. it doesn't bother me in waking life (much) (any more), why does it come up SO DAMN OFTEN in dreams?? >___<

so then I was trying to repair the holes with duct tape, then gave it up and asked somebody to go to a vet/pet store for me and get a carrier while I walked around holding Nar in my arms, who was uncharacteristically non-struggly.

not really bad dreams, not nightmares, just... not good. hey subconscious, WTF. JUST TELL ME WTF.

then there was the dream that I was packing up from a weekend out somewhere, and everything was going fine until I realized I'd lost the cat carrier to bring Nar home (why the HELL I was out weekending somewhere WITH NAR, I have no idea), so I tried to put him in a really big, empty bleach container--I'd washed it out, but it still had strong fumes, and he was gasping, so I started cutting holes in it, but he got out through them.

ugh--unsettling dreams last night; one, where I was in a really big (battleship?) boat, idling at harbor, when a series of +100 ft waves started coming in. then riding the boat on the crest of the waves, helplessly watching them wash over and destroy the city below me. I was fine, but couldn't do anything to help the people below...

@mawr go to Costco; maybe do a chapter of Lokific rewrite; WoW RP this evening, which I'm really looking forward to; shower; figure out bus route for getting to PAWS volunteering tomorrow; contact Smol Fren, ask if bird store ok Friday, ask if want to go to Costco today... I think that's all. XD

and now it is time for sleeps again. goodnight awoo.

there's somebody on the internets (not here, not on my birdsite feed, not anyone you know) who I think doesn't like me. they've been very--passive-aggressively rude to me for a while now. but I figure either they don't dislike me, they're just not good with tone or whatever; or they do dislike me, and to have me *completely ignore* the p-a rudeness will chap their buttcheeks much better than any other reaction I could possibly give them. :D
