So, given that the NSA exists, and can be considered to have hypervisor root to all US clouds, and that some extremely *motivated* forces on the US far right with access to the White House would love to have the NSA's capability (as yet they don't - but I expect eventually they'll get that)...

glanced out the window in time to see Scruffy* trotting rapidly across the field. zie's from the old pack, so I'm hopeful that means the rest of the pack is still around somewhere.
* it might have been a different coyote--with the same messed-up tail, grey markings like a husky, and general overall scruffiness--but it seems more likely it's the same Scruffy.

oh also I saw Blade Runner 2043 (whatever the year is) yesterday, and it's good. engaging, visually stunning; the sound effects and soundtrack are *fabulous* and really lend a lot to create the atmosphere. I had no idea what to expect from the plot other than "it's thirty years later and Harrison Ford is in it at some point," and I enjoyed seeing the story unfold.

@noelle it's annoying as hell, and if it goes on too long it can get painful, but the "spoonful of sugar" trick fixes it (though it may take a couple of tries). but at least I don't pass out! much, much empathy. *fistbump*
