#Writing

I may have just made the best career-limiting move today. I told a recruiter that I could pass a drug test as part of a job offer on the grounds that the company requesting it sign a contract subject to binding arbitration that they won't test after the initial hire.

I love sleeping in the Observatory when I can. In that space, a megameter from Earth, I'm surrounded by stars created by my community.

The only downside is that the beanbags in there go soft and flat top easily, so I usually wake up spiritually refreshed and physically beat.

@chosafine@instance.business Nightshade sensitivity. I'll stick to my herb rack. Garlic, cumin, oregano, black pepper, and allspice. Oregano, thyme, basil, and garlic. Sage, fennel, tarragon, and onion. Tarragon, rosemary, and parsley. Cumin, coriander, star anise, garlic, and turmeric. Everything gets a little salt along the way.

And no, never "parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme." That actually doesn't work very well together, much to my grave disappointment.

Purification isn't a process, insofar as it isn't part of the alchemical transformation. It's the recognition that metal is in an impure state, and needs to be refined before it can be transformed. Before we can even calcinate, we must remove that which could spoil the work, wasting time and energy, and resources.

@thethinktanker It's okay. Several people are able and willing to talk about the subject. You can talk about your thoughts safely. At a minimum, I know a bit about it, and I know others who are as well. What would you like to know?
