Pursuant to Keet's unicode symbol of the day, one thing I keep thinking Sofi needs is the incorporation of glyphs/ideograms for common ideas. Not just alchemical symbols but things like these:
& (et, and)
ā (ante, before)
c̄ (cum, with)
p̄ (post, after)
q̄ (quisque, every)
s̄ (sine, without)
@ (<unk.>, at)

Not every preposition, necessarily, but many common words would end up with formal inclusion in the language as documented shorthand.

Two weeks to my arrival at RAWR. Home situation with repair crews plus other things have conspired to make my prepwork... not a thing yet. This weekend is going to get exciting. I can slam out three thousand words in an afternoon, but it's not how I prefer to do it.

Somebody built 201 C++ and C# projects in the same TFS directory structure. Third-party libraries from source, thirty-two and sixty-four bit versions side by side. Five different methods of including libraries found so far.

"Hey, buni, go extract the cURL system to a side file so we can get it out of our build tree." Nice and simple. I've been here for three hours and I only just now understand how much more work there is to do.

And yet... nobody else did it.
