@starkatt Yeah!! I'm totally good with browsing, just uh, going from that to actually talking art is for some reason a thing that makes me hella anxious. ^^;;;;
@vahnj HUZZAH!!! :DD Go little Kobold! You can do the thing!!
@cardboardfriend It's so good!! I have a bicycle too and it's almost nicer to ride at night, honestly. A cool breeze while working up a sweat is just the best. ♥️
@starkatt Aww!! That's awesome :D :D :D
I need to get a design decided on for mine. I'm afraid of walking into a tattoo shop and being all "Hey I have an idea but no idea how to execute it, can you sit with me and art for like an hour and then permanently mark the end result on me?" The fear is unreasonable but I can't make it go away. XD
injury
@Ratttz Yeah, you'll probably be just fine. If you have full feeling in your fingers (and make sure you keep those bandages loose!!) you should be OK, though depending on how deep the cut was, you might have a scar from it.
Also, make sure you change that gauze out tomorrow morning. If the bandage has adhered to the wound, soak your hand in a bowl of warm water to help loosen the bandage. Expect a lot of nasty colored seepage.
I rode my electric motorcycle home and oh my goodness I forgot how wonderful it is to ride a through a city late at night!!
The roads are practically yours, all the lights are either green or quickly turn green just for you; the breeze is cool and calming...
Seeing the Seattle skyline appear from behind the crest of a hill, only to ride right through it and bank west off of a long easy curve onto another highway, leaning off the bike into the wind...
It's as close to flying as I've ever felt.
@starkatt Aaaa!! Where did you go? And what didja get? I'm overdue for mine.
injury
@Ratttz Yeesh. I hope it heals up cleanly, too. :x I've had a couple cuts I should have gone to the ER to get stitches for, but didn't because [long string of expletives about the morally bankrupt concept of for-profit healthcare].
I went out and saw Spiderman with @kelseyhusky, @Aradia@mastodon.social, @Trouffee@mastodon.social, @Soreth and @Doephin! I really really liked it, even though the embaressing comedy was bad enough that I almost slid out of my chair and literally hid behind my hat for a few minutes during a scene (I really can't stand cringe humor).
Even with that, I give it an 8/10. Solid, solid film all the way through. :D
@Fuego I saw piderman :D
@Sangria AAAAAAAAA ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️ ♥️
injury
@Ratttz Auuugh. D: I hope it heals quickly!
Negative, venting
@squeakycheetah It's a scary world out there, yeah. I try to keep in mind that a lot of this has always been there, it was just largely hidden from most of us until recently.
The worst movements in the world always try to pump themselves up like this when they're facing their inevitable end, crumbling under the marching boots of forward social progress.
All we have to do is keep pushing forward together. Our very lives are a potent form of resistance. ♥️
@green Yay!! :D Glad I could help! ♥️
@retroskunkette I like to think of Capitalism as sustainable only when kept in very tightly controlled boxes and treated as the toxic concept it truly is.
@green Yeah, you should be okay. ♥️
Something I learned that helps me keep track of pills taken twice a day when I don't have a pill minder handy: flip the bottle between doses. :D
That way, if it's on its cap, you know the last dose you took was in the morning, and if it's on its base, you know the last dose you took was in the evening. ^^
@green Oh no D:
