@starkatt As someone with a really bad memory, are you taking any mood stabilizers or anti-depressants? Check side effects for short term memory loss.
Also, if you have a history of being gaslit in the past, it's been my experience that can cause memory issues later on due to developing an instinct not to trust your memory.

I really enjoyed @literorrery and @ElectricKeet's theory that Big Trouble in Little China is the story of a Shadowrun campaign that's been going on for YEARS, and the DM's college roomie or something was in town and really wanted to join them for a game... but didn't grok the setting. And so, Jack Burton was born and forced to fit somehow, even though he really shouldn't have.
