@Nine well, the range 802.11ac devices are allowed to use is on the x axis, it's split into channels to make it easier for devices to avoid each other. But if there's not many devices around, they can use a wider part of the spectrum to transmit more data, the parts of the spectrum the devices can use are the hills
also on some channels 5GHz migh get interference with weather radar, afaik routers are required by law to back off when they see that, so that's fun
@chemelia there's no ethical anime under capitalism
@pup_hime gotta get all the bytes off of there
@pup_hime that's how you know it's really reading that disc

@monorail @Felthry yeah, basically. Valve's CS:GO config maps stuff like votes, opening the buy menu… to a grid on the left touchpad. They also support custom icons. It'd be a bunch of work to set up though
here's an example for the radial variant https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/features/steam_controller/radial_menus
@Felthry @monorail seems like someone's already done it and it works for them https://reddit.com/r/dwarffortress/comments/3u975i/steam_controller/
@Felthry if I'm playing with friends, I'd probably prefer my desk, unless I figure out some way to comfortably use chat apps easily from the hypothetical couch. I'd prefer the couch (I don't have one atm) if I'm just playing single-player
@Felthry either is an option, it's just more annoying to set up kb+m on a couch, but I already have them at my desk
@Felthry depends on whether I'm playing at my desk or on a TV
