Gender: Not Even Once
@literorrery I don't know, but I feel like that today too. -_-
@starkatt Every time I spend money for something that isn't survival. :-/
@Aradia@mastodon.social @Soreth Wait, that's an alien? I thought that was one of those early 80s projection TVs. :-P
Is that basically just the same band but instead of robot suits, they're wearing plush suits? :-D
@literorrery @indi One thing like that I was able to go to while it existed was the Star Trek Experience in Vegas.
"Beam"aboard the Enterprise (D), wander the bridge, then do a shuttle motion-theater thing at the end.
You could skip the gift shop if you wanted, though given there were costumers wandering around, it was hard to avoid the temptation to throw a tribble at a Klingon.
Shit What Orrery Says
"I went mad once. Did me no end of good."
Work, thinking out loud
@KawaSeadrake Relatedly, in my experience, the smaller scale warehouses are most often on Craigslist, while the mid to larger ones are through temp agencies.

@KawaSeadrake Oh yeah, definitely not Amazon. There's plenty of other small business warehouse places around. They're usually down around Georgetown, or up in Bothell and Woodinville, i.e. where the spaces are affordable.
Conveniently you live near the upper end of that. :-)

@KawaSeadrake Yeah, I guess it is hard to find good ones. Or at least tolerable ones. :-/
Food; backronyms; plural mention
@Rosemary I did, and you're delicious! :-P
(We had this bottle of rosemary suspended in olive oil, so I ended up with both oil and the herb on the sandwich. )

@KawaSeadrake One that occurs to me is shipping/receiving type stuff in warehouses. You don't inferface with the public, so your expression is just for your coworkers, and they usually aren't open on weekends, or do night shifts.
Roady 2.0 WIP
@Roady_Dragonfae Oooh! Yeah, I love the antlers, and the fact that your wings have armatures but are still dragonfly-like!
@makyo Awwww, so you are you, cutie!
@itsnero I don't blame poor geography skills for that, I blame poor choices of globe-flattening projection by mapmakers. :-P
That's extra fun for me when it's like, friends I know as customers at my work, and my postfurry crowd, and there's a lot of overlap now. :-)
@Leucrotta @Momentrabbit Since I work in retail, one thing I also comment on often is "dang, I wish the US could get rid of pennies like Canada did".
