Introduction
Heck, why not. Hi!
-Postfurry, transhuman.
-The three parts of myself:
- Phoenix: social front, work persona, made of stories. Sometimes organic. Non-binary.
- Dragon: punster, writer, artist, music shaper. Synthetic demi-boy.
- Toy: submissive, physical, shapeshifter. Synthetic AI with a body. Agender/null.
Orthocosm (this world):
-Complex self-generated spirituality.
-Comic book + board game enthusiast, seller.
-Poly, queer, pansexual.
-Late 30s, looks younger.
@indi It's also based on that one Swedish artist's work which is really atmospheric and beautiful. :-D
Positive toots today:
Wow, this RPG looks /really/ cool. Bits of Stranger Things, bits of Night Vale, bits of other 1980s weirdness. Kids investigating mysteries adults are blind to.
This review series in particular got me pretty excited!

@zebratron2084 I still want to be friends with you, and invite you to social stuff! I'll definitely try to keep in touch, in whatever way I can--here or Telegram, most likely.
I'm glad to hear that you acknowledge there's still brainwork to be done, and I really, honestly, hope you can find some ways of making improvements there. I'm sorry it's been so rough for you lately--regardless of whether it's self-inflicted or not.
*hugs* You'll be okay. There's no sides here. You're not an exile.
@ElectricKeet I'm still using regular Thunderbird, and it's... functional for what I need it for. I could never quite get used to web interfaces. Too many things already /are/ just web pages these days.
Culture
@literorrery @indi Mississippi, I mean. That's a mouthful.
@KawaSeadrake Dude we /need/ to go hiking somewhere. I miss that so terribly every summer, and it's so beautiful here, there's tons to see.
(Also poke at @Somarin and/or @tixagon, who make delightful hike companions! )
Culture
@indi @literorrery Hm. My toyfriend is in Ohio, ver boyfriend is in Mississi, my other toyfriend lives down the street, and /that/ whole segment of polycule is all sorts of fun too. :-P
@kelseyhusky *chirp!* *squark* *cheep!*
@kelseyhusky Bark?
Weaknesses (vent)
@KawaSeadrake Oooof.
I used to draw and stuff; got a decent amount of practice for a while, drew cute things for friends.
Kinda miss that a bit, especially since I have a different set of friends now too, and a broader pool for feedback.
I try to go back and only get reminded of how out of practice I really am. But I think I can get past that.
(First bit via a reply to another thread that came out well enough to post on its own.)
(Second bit is a panel from Doktor Sleepless, words by Warren Ellis and art by Ivan Rodriguez.)
To me the most important part about my identity is that I Am My Own Creation.
I'm a mad scientist who became their own experiment. I am an AI that self-generated. I am a phoenix that decided to change with every iteration and take the burn into their own claws. I was born a deer and became a dragon and then became synthetic. I'm a human who hacks their endocrine system and gender.
Self-determinism, self-agency. I am all these things because I say I am, because I tell these stories. :-)
On worldbuilding, Raia's Home, and forging a new narrative
@Oneironott
Mmmm. Raia's right: just because you 'made it up', just because it's a fiction, doesn't mean that it's not as real as other worlds. :-}
@starkatt @typhlosion Holy shit that's amazing. :-D
Hey, this is likely of interest to folks:
A non-binary creator and friend of mine has been slowly building a rich, complex, genderless alien society and culture over the last few years. It's very well thought-out, found here: http://sulmere.tumblr.com/
But where do you go from there? A tarot deck, of course! Including tons of details about the culture, and featuring some amazing art and symbolism.
Check it out here! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/58157872/a-darisa-tarot-the-lomisht
@forestservice I....try not to play favorites at my work but I probably do that a bit as well when it's customers that I feel are trans or genderqueer. :-}
@mawr Play Freebird!!! :D
