@guerrillarain@witches.town I've used it twice--once when I first got it, to get a feel for it; and the other time--a while ago, I don't remember what for exactly. right now my life is so dull I don't feel the need to use it for myself at all, and I haven't done readings for other people in ages. XD
@guerrillarain@witches.town yesssss! cynical, playful, complicated (oh SO COMPLICATED), more than a little dragon-focused, and just soooo, sooooo pretty. I love it, I just don't use it as much as I probably should, but that's all right--I love it anyway. ;) five stars, highly recommend!
@guerrillarain@witches.town and I hardly use the SD deck at all nowdays, but every once in a while I take it out and play with it and go "OH GOSH THIS IS SO PRETTY AND AWESOME."
soooo I guess the point is, I don't think Tarot decks need to be justified? XD after doing semi-professional readings for a while (for like $5 each lol) I think of them as tools--treat 'em right, but don't feel bad about replacing them if they don't work for/with you.
@guerrillarain@witches.town at one point I had three decks--my "training wheels" Rider-Waite (with the descriptions taped onto the cards, it worked well to train myself but was ANNOYING to shuffle), the Robin Wood deck (which is VERY PRETTY but kind of bland in some ways), and... another one I don't even really remember because I didn't actually use it much, the Cat Tarot I think. now I just have the Silicon Dawn deck which is FANTASTIC OMG.
