NSFW Ramblings - Mostly about Media creation and Tits
@Phorm @Momentrabbit Seconded.
near future dystopia science fiction, capitalism
@Dex Please tell me there's a full cut of 1984 written in this style.
@DialMforMara #Northgate here. Can't tell you much other than that it looks pretty at a distance and seems more walkable, but I can't speak as a resident.
Habari gani, fam? Happy New Year! Here is my post for the final day of Kwanzaa -- Imani, or Faith:

@zatnosk Pushing one further, we need full-duplex decentralized software that doesn't _require_ servers. Mastodon is a good step away from a centralized communication service, but it's not the ultimate goal, something like Secure Scuttlebutt which is completely decentralized. Same for other services. Client/server fat-apps that respect the hardware requirements of the people running them.
Identity, too, needs to be globally flexible and locally defined.
TW: Sexual assault
Convention-goers, please take a moment to read — I wrote a blog post going public about a date-rape drugging incident that happened at BronyCon this year.

Personal drama life shit
@Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town It's unfortunate, but real. And there are people not terribly far removed from our circles who've done this before. It can be hard to acknowledge, because we all want to believe those who say they've been hurt, but some people claim to be victims to try to get others punished. I take it as a reminder that the responsibility of deciding my beliefs ultimately lies with me, regardless of what das Gerede says. Sympathies; I know how hard this one is.
Sensitivity As A Service
@emanate Short form: reading stories with an eye towards identifying subtexts and narratives that the original author may not realize others are likely to read into the text.
New years resolution (real)
@vahnj What're you using for your engine? Something self-written, or is there a framework you're adapting for the meat of it?
I would love to know more _about_ game design, but I'm, like... not a UX person. I have stories I want to tell and systems to tell them in, but making them accessible outside of pure text is completely alien to me. =o.o=
