@Momentrabbit Hm. I'm always curious to learn where a part's steel originates. It's such an ancient technology and yet to this day, the material quality varies wildly from country to country.
good news, everyone!
@PaulFerence @vahnj I bet that'd feel real good
Like those brain teaser copper wire headfucker things but way more lewd. XD
@Momentrabbit Yeah, that definitely doesn't look like wear. Any idea what the country of origin might be?
I like to imagine Starlings are magical creatures whose murmuration dances are powerful spells that help put the Earth to rest in preparation for winter. ♥️

U.S. Sex Education is Bad
@Leucrotta @KawaSeadrake We don't and have never had "sex education" in this country; we managed procreation education and F.U.D. was tacked onto it as a(n ineffective) deterrent.
If we taught kids about CONSENT AS THE PRIMARY AND MOST IMPORTANT THING, I think our society would be a much more peaceful one.
Sex has more to do with the people than the act itself. I wish it were taught that way.
(I have many ironclad opinions on this subject.)
@vahnj @ktsukik@cybre.space @thefishcrow@cybre.space Tumbo Rumbos
@noiob The effort that goes into inflicting this sort of terrible UX on people for no tangible benefit just hurts my brain to think about
@glowinthed0rk Bless your gay heart <3
Ichor, Bile, Politics
@IrisKalmia @kelseyhusky @literorrery There was once a time, not too long ago, when there was a respected social contract around framing political endeavors in a light version of the engineering framework, but it seems like respect for that social contract faded quickly around the time Reagan took office.
Net Neutrality Death: Potential Consequences
@mmsword @Doephin @Phorm @anthracite This. All the video streaming and large download (Steam, Origin, Nintendo Store, PSN, etc) sites become premium services (possibly with bandwidth caps specific to those sites). Private VPNs could still get you around those limitations; They'll block them as they find them, of course.
I suspect the major ISPS will quickly move to kill all P2P traffic. It'd save them tons in legal fees, among others.
Dragony plush thing! Friendly, non-binary, anarcho-syndicalist, ace.
