@Rosemary Hmm, looking this up more, it's both.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/LP_record
It was a format that became the standard for albums, which then mutated into being used as a shorthand for "album".
@Rosemary Yeah. I think LP has just become synonymous with vinyl records, while "album" has crossed over to general use on any medium.
EP remains, for whatever reason, to mean a mini-album, much like "novella" is a word for a shorter-form novel.
@Rosemary It's a musical release term, I think a holdover from vinyl record days. Distinguishing a single track release from a slightly larger collection of tracks, usually 4-5. The larger collection is still not a full album, so it's called Extended Play, or EP.
When there's a full album of songs (I would guess over 6 tracks or 60 minutes of playtime), it becomes a Long Play, or LP.
Somehow I forgot about this, and turn around to find an entire EP released last year!
BT and Christian Burns (who's sung on many BT tracks) get together and form a synthpop band called All Hail The Silence. It's real good stuff.

(sorry for Spotify link, I couldn't immediately find other sources)
@Roady_Dragonfae When I was a kid, my older sister and I had a playhouse made from a big fridge box. I remember drawing "buttons" all over one wall and imagining that it could turn into a spaceship or a submarine or a time machine.
Imagination is good, and still important. :-)
Mild kinks + ✨plush✨
@Alistor I like this sort of vore. :-)
@Leucrotta Almost every song on her new album, including Pynk, has gotten stuck in my head at some time or another. :-)
@tastymochafox Hm, that can get tricky.
Hey @Oneironott , we should try that sometime. :-D
@Sangria Isn't "blowing up" usually a goal for you or your characters? :-P
Six. Ascending or descending?
Theology, Craft Sequence
I was trying and failing to source a specific quote from Craft Sequence about creation myths, and how they can be retroactively true, earlier in this thread. Something like "as soon as we discovered gods, they had always existed." But maybe that was from Gunnerkrigg Court.
Closest I found was from Fulm Fathom Five (paraphrased): "I suspect that if we could go back in time to the beginning, we'd find all of [the creation myths] happening simultaneously."
@Felthry Rio Grande River, Sierra Nevada Mountains, etc. :-)
@Thaminga Ooooh. Epic Pinball. I played the hell out of several of those tables. :-)
@irisjaycomics @skolli@mastodon.social That looks really cool! :-)
@amalgam You brought a lot of people into one general area, and it's long-since been self-sustaining in that sense. That it took a different form than your vision isn't your fault, and it's still a very good thing overall.
We're here, and we're doing things, and we're a community. You still sparked those first connections and movements.
Sonas.

In thinking about worlds/frames/stories/cuils, I tend to borrow terminology from four-dimensional topology, and just say "ana" and "kata". It's two directions along an axis nobody bound to three dimensions can point to. :-D
