@KawaSeadrake With my own elemental stuff I've had to learn not to associate /too/ strongly to the actual elements involved.
Like, I feel emotions sometimes like water, sometimes like fire (being a phoenix and all, with a strong tie between emotional breakdowns/healing as phoenix burning and regenerating). But that doesn't mean the symbolic element of Fire is emotion instead of Water.
It's an orthocosm association, versus a more higher-level symbolic one. :-}

Old angry black guy in the bus tunnel, yelling at an asian guy to get out of a seat so he could sit down. Then yelling racial shit at the asian guy like how Hiroshima and Nagasaki were faked.
He got on the same bus. I yelled at him on the way past "shut the fuck up". If...only to give him a different target. Maybe that was braver than calling security, but they probably wouldn't do anything.
