So...some things have come up, and I need to be out of home and stay with someone for the weekend (and possibly a bit longer).
It's come at a bad time, because I don't get paid for another 6 days and I have less than $5 in my bank account right now.

I had been thinking of doing a writer's group thing at 11, but that's in Cap Hill, which is kind of annoying for me to get to, and right now I don't feel like mucking around with trying to get there and then up to U District, which is probably at least partially because it's hot, draining my energy and patience. :P so... [practical upshot of that bout of flailing] whenever you'd like! ;)

Some kids got arrested at an anti-war march like 10 years ago. We had to go over there and bang on the windows, wait for someone with enough money to come bail them out. Now we can donate to bail funds in minutes.
We have street medics, crypto comms, libraries, food distribution systems, and support networks for so much stuff.

not much dreamstuff... just a vivid scene where I was staying in a hotel, and the ground floor windows fronted onto an outdoor enclosure for a pride of tigers (yes I know), so I woke up half-surrounded by sleeping tigers and it was AWESOME.
there was also the bit where I discovered a giant underground mall out in the middle of nowhere. I dream about malls a lot and I have no idea why. :|
