@tastymochafox More seriously, I spent several years regularly communing with Princess Luna as part of my praxis. Situations have changed and I don't speak much with her these days, but I still feel deep affection for her.

@tiden Take eggs, milk or cream, make thick custard. Fold in neufchâtel or mascarpone, then add berries or fresh fruit. It's sweet fron the fruit but not heavily so, high in protein from the eggs, and still really filling from the cheese.

@indi First thought that comes to mind is "allanthrope." Which, admittedly, is cheating a bit, 'cause it's "other (than) human" in Greek.
Depending on where you want the sense-of-self-as-nonhuman to sit, there's constructions like "xenophrene" (foreign mind). Not sure I like it, but I did find "autognostic" (self-knowing), which feels closer but also suggests a belief angle that may not fit everyone's appreciation.
I'll turn this one over in my head some more tomorrow.

@starkatt @indi @vagabondsun I don't think that word "belongs" to anyone, is what I'm getting at. It didn't evolve organically from within the old guard; it was a late introduction drawing a distinction most older community members didn't really see as relevant because "were" covered a broad range of identity-expressions. We'd already rejected Lion Templin's "contherianthropy" by then, f'rex. "Therian" wasn't our word for ourselves until after several schisms and subsumption into furry.
